The Bench has been recognised again as amongst the world's leading sports and entertainment lawyers by Who's Who Legal Sports & Entertainment 2018, which was released this month. Only 3 lawyers in the United Arab Emirates made it into the prestigious list this year including our very own Joby Beretta of The Bench.
2018 has been a great year for The Bench's sports & entertainment team having worked on projects such as MSS Kits's sponsorship of Tom Wrigley in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and other races around the world including the Challenge Bathurst race in Australia. Tom had an amazing season coming third overall in the championship.
The Bench advises on a wide range of sports & entertainment matters and its lawyers are recognised as specialists in this field including by Chambers and Partners Global 2018, which noted that our “expertise includes TMT, hospitality and sports” and Legal 500 which praised our "good technical knowledge and dedication to delivering what clients need". Media Law International 2018 also notes our "expertise in the media, entertainment and sports industries".
The Bench was also awarded ‘Highly Commended ‘ for TMT at the 2017 Middle East Legal Awards and is short-listed for 'TMT Law Firm of the Year' at the upcoming The Oath Middle East Legal Awards 2018.
